Possible Widmore Kids.
Ok one of the reasons Ben told Widmore why he was Banished because he always left the Island & had a baby with an Outsider.
So we all assume that it is obviously Penny & with his Age Widmore was when he was Banished he probably cant have that many kids, but we are not 100% on that.
Some peep are thinking Faraday is the Love Child of Ellie & Charles from back in the 50’s when they were on the Island & still very young.
An for some Odd reason I feel that Charlotte could also be there child & maybe not Faraday (Kind of strange considering Charlotte & Faraday’s relationship)
Young Ellie looked alot like Charlotte also i thought, I’m sure Ellie had Blonde or Red hair?? An I thought she had curly hair also?? (Young Ellie)
So we havent seen Penny’s mother yet & we just assume Penny is Charles i know even after they say she is but if she isnt then that adds to the Popular theory of Little Charles Widmore/Hume is actually the older Charles Widmore.
Maybe thats why we have never seen Charles even meeting his Grandson, maybe cause he cant but the writers just make us think Penny hates her Father & thats why.

I thought it was HUGE foreshadowing when Penny was telling Ben that she has no relation to her father which makes no sense but I just feel that was to throw us off.
There is speculation that Faraday did not see his and Charlotte’s relationship as a “sexual” love relationship, but more of a “family” love relationship; when he says “I’m in love with her” he says it because it would sound weird saying “Because she’s my sister” or “Because she’s my daughter”. Note that Faraday and Charlotte never once kissed, only hugged; it’s not like you have to take relationships slow on the island…
Of course that’s just a theory. I think it would be interesting if they were brother/sister, never thought of it like that; but I’d hate LOST to turn into one of those soap operas where everyone is related and stuff.
As for your foreshadowing statement, Penny says “My father and I have absolutely no relationship whatsoever.” It would be more clear if she said “I have no relation to my father.” Saying “relationship” means their bond to each other, saying “relation” means their family tie to each other. You could be right though, it would be one of quite a few foreshadowing moments that episode.
Penny might not be Charles daughter but Charlotte and Daniel are probably not related. Did he say “I love her” or “I’m in love with her”? They’re not really the same thing. I love my mother but I’m not in love with my mother. That would be gross.

When Charlotte was remembering being on the island, didn’t she say something about her father and imply it was Faraday (I know she said something about her father being there and ‘you’ e.g. Faraday … but I interpreted it being closer to being you’re my father.)
Wait – she remembered a crazy guy telling her she had to get off the island and telling her if she came back she’d die then told Faraday she thought it was him.
