miles asks where his fathers body is buried, his mother tells him “in a place you can never go”
who else is there?
are some of the losties there, or on their way there?
Naomi said the expedition to the island ” is to find a man that will be very difficult to find”
possible answer, “this place,” is some “time,” in the distant past. the ultimate place to go, if the end of the world was coming, would be as far back in time as possible (maybe ancient Egypt)
could this be the losties destination? if they went back with the knowledge of today, what kind of future could they help to create?
is the statue one of the losties who become ” god like” and worshiped by the people of the time? (this persons knowledge and wisdom from the future would impress/ make them special.)
maybe the losties have got lost on the way to this place, both physically and spiritually.
teenbee, Charlotte’s mother also lied to her about ‘the island’, because she didn’t want Charlotte to ever try and find it, and Miles’ mother tells him a similar lie.
Miles’ mother never could have for-seen that her son would ever know about ‘the island’, unless she told him, let alone find ‘the island’.
