Does anyone else find the fact, that John locke had to die and then was transported on on Ajira flight 316 where his body temporarily vanished, odd? Do producers use red herrings?
John 3:16 is a verse in the Bible that specifically refers to the sacrificial death of Jesus. Who then proceeds to rise from the dead.
I realise that modern Locke isn’t actually Locke, but seriously. This is an act of blatant satire? Goes towards the biblical theories.
I would not go so far as satire, but the writers are seemingly using the biblical reference as part of the overall texture of the show. Numerology seems to run deep in the world of Lost without being an overt part of the solution.
