The Loophole
I’m really interested in what Jacob meant when he said to Locke so you have found a loophole. He was referring to the fact that Locke appears to be dead in the crate, yet standing before Jacob very much alive. Does this mean that the loophole is that if you come to the island dead that the island will bring you back to life. This would explain why we see Christian, Jacob and Richard. This would mean that Jacob when he left the island to meet the losties and keep them on the path, may have relied on someone like Eloise Hawking or perhaps others before her to plot the course of the island, so that
John Locke was not brought back to life, his body was in the crate Illana and comp. were dragging around.
I actually think locke found a loophole ages ago and the locke we saw dead is still dead in the ground.Ihe locke we see now switched with a near future version of himself and thats the one that died.I think thats the same for anyone we see who is supposed to be dead.It could be that christian was already on the island and has been saving the losties ever since they got there..who knows!!
fairly certain that “christian” was actually the same guy that is now locke. i think we have “seen” this character many times in the history of the show appearing as someone that is dead. perhaps he can transform himself into anyone that has died on the island. i also think the smoke monster is the same guy. i actually think there is two smoke monsters. remember in season one, locke said he saw the monster and it was beautiful. the second time, it tried to pull him into the ground. maybe i’m just an idiot.
at the beginning of the episode, the guy talking to jacob on the beach told him that he wanted to kill him, and that one day he would find a loophole
Christian told Locke he had to die because he knew when he come back dead he could take his form as leader of the others (Christian is the smoke monster) it wasn’t Jacobs cabin but a prison for smokey who escaped, really if you think about it it’s bens fault jacob died because he said to take Locke back to the island if he didn’t smokey coulnt of took his form
