Latin in Lost

This is my first time posting, and I dont know if someone has already mention this, but Richard’s response to Alana’s question “What lies in the shadow of the statue?” is in Latin. He says “Ille Qui Nos Omnes Servabit.”. Luckily I have studied Latin for 6 years (call me a nerd), and understood completely (plus it makes alot of sense). What he says is “He Who Will Protect us All”. This is probably referring to Jacob, illustrating that he must be seen as good to those who have inhabited the Island for hundereds of years.

This is off the subject, but I’m willing to bet (based on previously used Biblical themes) that the other one talking to Jacob ( the loophole guy) will be named Esau.
