LOST – The answer is in the TITLE

Yes, you all have interesting theories but I will set you on your way for more answers.

I am a theologist.

If we had the ability for time travel, then there would be no way to have a past, present or future; therefore the thing that sets us apart from animals is our understanding (intelligence). That island signifies time travel.

The second humans have time travel we are lost. Sawyer is on his way to being found, excepting his past for love has made him see there he has a future.

Jack needs to make the biggest decision of his life. Jack will never move on, he has always been haunted by the past.

Jack will have to do the biggest thing in is life that will define him, but also save him.

Hew will I reckon have to ensure that island never existed, face he has to lose things forever, but learn the biggest lesson.

By doing that he is FOUND. Until then he always will be LOST. Get it !!!!

LOST is the Lost City Of Atlantis.

Some things are supposed to be lost.

Some things (like time travel) are supposed to not be in the control of humans.

The island will never exist. Like relativity; the relationship between motion and time is interesting.

We are going through the motions of something that will not and has not existed.

That’s the uniqueness of life and a level you are not ready for.

Open up your eyes to your own lives.

I am a theologist and Lost touches on the same issues people touched upon thousands of years ago. The answer was there from day one, the answer is the title itself.

  1. That could be true, but still. We all know by now that the island is from Corinthian era. But we cant forget the fact that jack opened his eyes. I am still thinking that Jack is Lost. That everything has happened before and jack prevented something and next thing he did is open his eyes and saw crashed plane oceanic 815. Its very much possible.

  2. I really like this. I thought the title suggested spirituality and faith since the beginning. I really like how you added that some things were meant to be lost and Jack’s job is to ensure they never exist.
I thought I heard somewhere that the writers said the show has nothing to do with Atlantis. I didn’t see/hear it first-hand, but that kind of made me ignore that possibility.
Nice job. I don’t necessarily agree with it all, but you made valid points and supported them.
