Truth about Jacob/MIB/guitar case

1st time we see Jacob – he’s fishin’, cookin’ and eating.
1st time we see MIB, he says he’s already eaten.
1st time MIBJohn comes back to ‘his people’ he’s bringing a big-ole-bore ready for cookin’
Later we see him chompin’ on an apple.

So, one thing we do know about the perhaps-gods … they love to eat. (Devour is a better word, perhaps??) Adding credibility to Hurley’s guitar case is filled with food of some type.
