vincent?
seriously cant work out if this has been brought up before, but what if vincent is like christian/locke….dead on the island/brought back to life
vincent was in the cargo hold on the plane, presumably in a dog carrier, but as far as i can remember, i didnt see a dog carrier on the beach with the other luggage… it could be that he drowned at sea,as he may not have been able to get out of the carrier.
mind you if he died, we never did find his body either, but then we havent seen christian’s body either.
its just because christian sends vincent to wake up jack..and seems to be quite a main character (in some major plot lines/deaths).
just a thought….

plus there is always the picture of the dog in the cabin.
I also noticed while watching the Pilot episode that there are really strange camera angles that involve Vincent. They seem to focus in a little on him, but for lenghty times and almost as if to attract attention. *shrug* just another observation. 🙂
good call.. i too believe Vincent to be more important than he has seemed so far.
There was also the part during the Nikki and Paulo episode ,’Expose’, where vincent pulls the blanket off of the seemingly dead couple just before they are to be buried alive. as if he was trying to tell everyone that they werent actually dead.
I think he’s like an angel – or whatever manifests … and was with Locke’s sister, too.
I’ve always thought that Vincent was key, i have written a post myself saying that i believe him to be Jacobs way of moving around the island much the same way that MIB uses the smoke monster persona to move around as well
What if Vincent is really Jacob’s dog and he has some abilities like immortality etc from Jacob? That would be cool.

Seriously?
i think it is possible that vincent could be jacob’s dog (man’s best friend) or even a manifestation a la smokey… vincent’s never seen as “bad” or “naughty”.. he’s always doing good things, and pointing people in the right direction..
Have a look…interesting..

I completely agree with these ideas. Vincent does work as a guide starting with the very first few moments of the series. Plus, he could be Jacob’s dog, whom seemingly never ages much like Jacob and Richard, etc.
I must agree the idea of him being Jacobs dog is far more realistic than him being a version of Jacob. Im sure somewhere in the Bad Twin there are references to the loyalty of Dogs. Whether this has any relevance i dont know.
