Aaron is Jacob? Jacobs anti-aging gift? and limits on time travel
I’m just going to type this as it comes into my head 🙂 tell me what you think.
I know a lot of people believe that Aaron is Jacob, but i can’t find a good posted theory about it and i’m really curious how that would work. If Aaron is Jacob does that mean in the future of when the show started Aaron went way back in time and played Jacob all the years leading up to his birth? Jacob doesn’t age, so how could he have been a baby and then a little kid as Aaron? I get the impression that Jacob has always been there and always will be. But i guess he was killed. So did Jacob age to a certain point and then obtain the gift as Richard Alpert did? Why does Jacob have the power to give the gift but Richard doesn’t? If Jacob is really just a person, how can he be as powerful as he is?
Think about how long Jacob has existed before his birth (assuming he is Aaron). How far back in time can you travel? How long has time been around?
Any thoughts?
What if there’s a fountain of youth on the island that MIB/Jacob found and they gave Richard a drop, gifted in some elaborate cerimony removed from the fountain’s source, to make him their slave (just another of their island-fever humor.)
Don’t buy the Aaron=Jacob theory. He had to be raised by the angelic indestructable cheerleader, Claire, and his dad’s the bad Irish guy in Paul Blart, Mall Cop.
