Quantum Messiah.

John Locke has a messiah complex. He thinks he’s special and that he is a leader. Okay he doesn’t think that he can walk on water yet, but he has risen from the dead. 

The others think that John Locke is special. So much so that Richard Alpert came to visit him when he was a child to give him a test similar to the one that they give the Dhali Lama(sic). 

To hungover to remember much of that religion but I know reincarnation is a basic tenet of it.

The others wanted John Locke to kill his father to prove he was special. Why? I believe it was to prove that he could survive the grandfather paradox. The one that says that  you can’t  travel back in time and kill your grandfather because if you did you would never have existed. 

Why did they think that he could do this? Because either the others under Ben Linus or the Dharma Initative created a crossbreed child. 

This child would have a mother from one reality and a father from an alternative reality. What do I mean by alternative realities? Do I mean alternative timelines or an alternative world, (does one create the other?)
 

If there is a way of skipping between alt timelines or realities then the island is the place where this has being going on for a long time. 

This is the reason for the fertility problems on island.  A cross reality bred child who straddled both realities would be the glue that enabled two competing timelines to survive, whilst also being a way to cheat the grandfather paradox.
 

If a reality crossbreed  child was killed in one reality  he could still survive in both realities, because he comes from both places. Either he exists in both realties or he exists in neither. Because of this he keeps splitting the universe, and he never existed and always existed at the same time. Continuosly fracturing time and reality. Creating alternate realities with every breath he takes. Destroying the multiverse with every breath he takes.   
This child is the constant for the universe. An anchor of sorts that keeps everything in balance. Order and chaos.
 

Maybe this the fate of John Locke. Although John did not kill Anthony Cooper, Sawyer did. This means one of two things; either Anthony Cooper is not John Lockes dad, or Sawyer is the Quantum Messiah.

There is at least one other candidate for this position. Desmond and Penny’s son. When Desmond turned the failsafe and the world went purple he could have created an alt timeline.  This would make little Charlie Hume the child of a man from one reality and a mother from another. Is it his destiny to kill his grandfather and survive the grandfather paradox?
