Taweret’s foot: first sighting vs. recent…
(sorry ahead of time if this was spotted..)
Is it me, or are the two images of Taweret’s foot different? The first sighting of it shows its left foot intact, but during the Season 5 finale, it looks like its right foot is intact.
Production error? Am I thinking too hard on the recent image? Or are they telling us something?

same side, it is just hard to see the extension of the platform in the second picture.
Whoa. It sure looks like the pinky toe side of the foot in the second picture. The only visible toe isn’t big at all.
I’ve never seen this Cliff. I’m not mega-hardcore like some people on here, but I still figure I’d have seen this by now. If this is truly your catch, frickin good one man!
…..Unless you’re right Joshcgs, I’m just going off the size of the toe here.
i have a hunch it’s just a little production error because I really don’t see how it will connect to the overall story, unless we’re talking about the “A” word here.. lol
(alternate haha)
Interesting…kind of hard to tell in these shots. As an aside, does anyone know if the production team actually built the base on Oahu as we see it in these shots, or are all instances of the statue CGI. I lived on Maui for 5+ years and culturally speaking I doubt the locals would allow it, but it’d be cool if they built it and left it up like Hobbiton in New Zealand. http://www.hobbitontours.com/
It is not the same. Look at the angle of the leg extending up from the foot.
also, look at the platform. in the front view, the platform is surrounded by crumbling rocks. in the rear view, it is flat and no crumbled rocks.
maybe both feet remain, we have just not been shown both at the same time for whatever reason.
well, I’m totally agreeing with you that they aren’t the same foot being shown. That alone is a great catch. But the feet are too close together to not be shown together in the same frame.
