Some posts/posters got me thinkin’ about the ‘what ifs’ of LA X.

I think the showing of the barracks underwater = everyone drowned. Dharma. Others. Maybe MIB/Jacob. What’s the effect? (in 1977 – even later if you speculate).

Tas pointed out Shannon may not be on plane ‘cuz Jack chose to fix her dad and she’s still got $$.

drowning = no Daniel = no Time Studies.
No Widmore = No Widmore Enterprises for Palik to make $$ = Sun not as rich
No island = no Desmond on island.

Maybe that’s what MIB meant wrt “without these chains”, e.g. links which previously bound us. (Nahhh).
