MIB’S REASONS FOR GETTING OFF ISLAND

MIB is manipulating Sawyer…remember he said that Jacob came to him at one point in his life, probably when he was insecure or at his lowest ebb, and nudged him towards his path to the island?

Does anyone see the irony that FLOCKE is saying this at a time when Sawyer is devastated by the loss of Juliet? He’s pushing all the right buttons to get Sawyer on his side…I think it is now that Sawyer is being manipulated…The other LOSTIES who were touched by Jacob did not meet them at the lowest ebb of their lives…he is applying pressure to Sawyer at a moment of vulnerability…Jack, Sayid, Kate, Hurley and Sun and Jin weren’t at their lowest period when they were touched..

Why does he want to get off the island?

MIB will be getting off the island at a time where he doesn’t belong in time…if he just wants to go ‘home’, where would he fit in?…this isn’t his reasons for getting off the island…my guess is that he’s some evil entity…his aim is possibly to get off the island and spread his evil…this is why the Others are convinced that they are “saving the world”…keeping him trapped on the island keeps the outside world safe.

Sawyer asked if he read ‘Of Mice and Men’…he stated that it was a little after his time…this suggests he is very old…again, i ask, where would he fit in in the real world? Beware the serpent with the forked tongue…we’ve seen the smoke monster take snake-liked shapes whenever he’s around…we know he can manipulate…in ‘Dead is Dead’, Ben looks at a picture on the wall which looks like Egyptian hieroglyphics (sp) of 2 beings…one is a snake like creature in scattered form…the other is holding a hand up in front of it.

The other possibility could be that the loophole he found doesn’t end at the death of Jacob in 2007…he possibly needs to get off the island to kill Aaron before he comes back to the island in the past…this is a bit of a stretch, but i do think that Aaron could be Jacob, or at least the one to ‘bring balance to the force’ (joke)…Aaron, could potentially be the one who returns to the island in the past during ancient Egyptian period because, lets face it, we are going to see some sort of flashback during that time when the statue was around…he is renamed Jacob, and thus, that damn loop starts all over again…ending with the death of Jacob in 2007 but restarts with Aaron/Jacob going back in to the past in Ancient Island Egypt and starts all over again…to defeat Jacob, MIB needs to take Aaron out in the real world in 2007.

Claire says after the crash that she couldn’t feel the baby moving for days…I think the baby perhaps died…Jacob, like MIB, can take over in one’s body…he takes over in Aaron’s body…he knew the end was coming for him…this is why he takes measures to get Aaron off the island and away from MIB.

This is a bit of a stretch of a theory but I don’t think MIB can get off the island without someone helping him off…my guess is that Sawyer will to betray MIB – a long con of sorts – but maybe pay for it by being killed.
