MiB’s Motives
What if……….. Long shot here, the reason that MiB is so pissed at Jacob is that he was one of the original men brought to the island by Jacobs manipulative ways. Maybe MiB’s loved one was hurt or about to die and jacob offered him the chance to save her if he came to the island. And over a very long time “trapped” to save her,on the island he became disillusioned with the deal and began to seek his revenge on Jacob.

Realdeal, there certainly appears to be logic behind your statements.
I have read similar thoughts and I think that you are certainly on the right track. I encourage you to ‘stick’ with these ideas, as I get the impression this applies in some manner.
The main idea behind your thoughts, are good!
It would make a lot more sense if, like you’re saying, MIB has a REAL reason to hate Jacob and his ways.
To say that Jacob did something personal to MIB a long time ago wouldn’t be a longshot. It’s just easy for us to think that MIB never was human in the first place since he’s, well, smoke.
If MIB isn’t THE definition of evil, I’m curious to find out his motives.
