Alternate Timeline Smokeyless
Hi sorry if this has already been talked about – I’m new to this site.
People have pointed out how when Ben called Smokey, the water had to be drained before Smokey came. I think that, with the island shown underwater in the alternate timeline, Smokey does not exist in it because apparently he cannot be in water. This could even be why he cannot leave the island, because it is surrounded by water. If this is true, it would seem to prove that Jacob is really the good guy and that Smokey is the bad guy. What do you guys think?
How do you mean that it proves that?
Well without MiB(because the island is underwater), it appears as though life is better for the losties.In the alt timeline everyone seems to be succeeding where they have failed in the real timeline. This suggests that, although Jacob’s touch could arguably have killed Nadia and hurt many others, MiB is the true cause of all the problems because without him the losties are actually successful.
