What WON’T Happen
Hello, this is my first thread. Thank you for reading.
My theory on the final scene of Lost goes like this: Through elaborate, if bumbling investigation the Losties manage to corner the mastermind behind all of the shenanigans. They pull his mask off, and it’s none other than…Roger Linus! He says “I would have gotten away with it if it weren’t for you meddling plane crash survivors!”
Anyway, back on topic: I think it’s important to summarize what we personally are pretty sure WON’T happen in the remaining episodes. Here’s my list:
1) The ending won’t have a totally mythological explanation, ie; Jacob/MIB are Egyptian Gods, Other Dimensional Spirit beings, etc.
2) The ending also won’t have a totally sci-fi explanation. I think Lost has pretty firmly established itself in the “sci-fantasy” genre.
3) The alt timeline ends in epic, cataclysmic apocalypse 2012-style. I only include this because while I feel it’s an unlikely but AWESOME possibility.
4) Everyone dies.
5) No one dies.
What are your thought’s?
There were two double negatives in your post to start with. I know this is only for fun but oiiiii…..
I reckon that Jacob will start singing here comes the man in black, run because he’s evil. Then Flocke will do the Will Smith bit and then you realise that Flocke is actually the Fresh Prince of Bel Air.
Oh and also, ROSE AND BERNARD ARE THE SKELETONS IN THE CAVES.
Just watch the Adam and Eve skeletons be Zoe and Frogurt or something terrible like that. I swear the writers only write certain things to make sure everyone’s been wrong with their theories.
The amount of bizarre turns these last two seasons have taken really put a question mark above my head. I just really don’t feel like we’re going to get an adequate ending with only 5 episodes remaining. I’m sure I’m going to be wrong, but geez, too much more to learn.
I think the ending will be a satisfying adventure leaving many questions unanswered.
In West Philidelphia…!
That was hilarious LOL
I do not think that Desmond will be the key to everything, although he will play an important part.
I don’t think Jack will be the big hero and save the day for everyone and I don’t think he’ll end up with Kate.
The mythological side will be represented by the Jacob/MIB – Jack/Locke story.
The Sci-fi side will be represented by the Widmore/Desmond/Faraday/DHARMA story.
We will have both a faith based and science based explanation to why all of this happened.
