Back to the Future
This thought has been brewing in my sinister little brain for quite some time so I thought it about time to through it out there. If this theory has already been presented (and knowing my goldfish memory it already has) then let me remind you of the brilliance of this twisted little tibit.
What if, and this is a big what if, the reason why Locke can walk on the island is because of the spinal surgery he will soon receive from Jack in the alt. timeline? There’s a lot of holes, I know but this show has always thrown around crazy time-travelling scenerios. I’m surprised that Jack isn’t is own father by this point. Not even Michael J. Fox made that mistake. My point is the timelines are merging. We see it in every episode. It is often intensified when multiple characters are together at once. I swear there is a point in “LAX” when Alex almost calls Ben dad before she is interupted. So Jack repairs Locke’s spine in the alt. and he is able to walk…and that bleeds through to the island Locke when he awakes after the crash. I can’t wait until tomorrow night.
Okay, interesting, but there’s really no logic for it.
yeah because there is so much logic in a show about a man who can turn into a smoke monster. Great idea. I’ll go a step further and say that someone will try and make Jack kill Locke when he’s under the knife the way Juliet did.
Yeah, i think the smoke monster will have a logic to it, once they explain it. It will still be magic, but logical otherwise.
As long as they make up some logic I’ll be okay with it.
Well I think this was somewhat “dis-proven” in last night’s episode due to the fact that Desmond ran Locke over with his car in the ATL.. I think that is going to have something to do with “containing” or defeating Nemesis on the island.
this idea has been mentioned by many before, including me. it has also been said that perhaps the locke that got off the plane was the one from the alternate after jack had fixed his back. the second part isnt really makes sense anymore based on how the show has played out but the first part can still be true. maybe locke will get taken to the hospital after the crash and jack will be his doctor. i donnnoooooo we shall see, we shall seeeeeeee. as far as logic, seriously? you cant look for logic in lost, if it was logical it wouldnt be lost
