a crazy mom, a child LOST, and 1 true island “master”

[Sorry if any of this has already been said and exhausted. I’ve been traveling for months and haven’t been able to keep up with theories.]

From the examples we’ve had of mothers going crazy – it’s been the result of losing a child.
If Jacob and MIB are brothers, was there another sibling that was lost, thus causing their mother to go crazy? (Remember when Locke was told by Mikhail that the computer chess game in The Flame was programmed by THREE masters?)

Maybe the mysterious little boy in the jungle is the 3rd sibling, the 3rd master, the “older brother” to Jacob and MIB, the true overseer of the island, the creator of the rules of “the game” that he has somehow forced his younger brothers into playing.

I mean, everyone answers to someone, like Ben said – so somebody had to make the “rules”.
