My Current #1 Question: How was Eloise aware?

Mr. Hume was uniquely special. His awareness that the sideways was a “waiting room” was a result of being blasted with electromagnetic energy.

I'm female, 28, a musician who plays a white ukulele and a black guitar, and I'm a fraternal twin. I have a fondness for tropical islands and wondering what's across the sea. Unlike the MIB - I've left home, many times, and concur with the Beach Boys that the cutest girls in the world are indeed housed in the United States (of Elizabeth Mitchell).

  1. My perception of it is that the “waiting room” as you put it isn’t something that everyone goes to. I think it was just a place that those group of people sub-consciously chose to re-join to move on.

Alot of what happened in the FSW was created by the minds of those that were there (Jack having a son, Sawyer being a cop etc.) So I think Eloise being there was just a fabrication of Desmonds mind.

I don’t actually believe she had died and ended up in that place. I believe Desmond conjured her up, which is why she seemed to know what was going on, but I see it as a way of Desmonds mind quietly pushing him towards the final answer.

I could be wrong, and I probably am, but that’s how I feel about it.

  2. Desmond’s awareness is arise from the accident, as we all know. Before this accident, Eloise was in this FSW world and, had known Charles Widmore and Faraday, even living with them. So it is very possible that she had her awakening by touching one of them. This is what i think,i could be wrong, but anyway i did not promise to give answers, writers did 🙂 … good question though
