I personally thought the finally was brilliant!!

Im not exactly sure why some viewers are falling into a trap of that the “whole” thing was purgatory or some dream?? I really cant believe a faithful viewer would see it that way…i thought it was crystal…..

I for one did not want all the answers to everything…for one it would have been forced…..two, i like not knowing everything…it leaves it for us to debate and create theories….That to me is the charm of the show……besides half the lingering questions people are complaining about ….i believe they have answered in one form or another….speculative at best sometimes….but i like that.

as for this outrigger scene……..why do we have to know……perhaps the ones shooting are from the future….that pertains to another story arc that surrounds Hurley and Ben….who knows?? i for one like to fill in the gaps and blank spaces……that is why this show is fun….and it makes you think………..im so happy they did not give everything on a silver platter…cause im sure it would have lost it luster

The light?? why cant people just leave it at that……..i took this concept from another site….so i leave you to answer…………in star wars we all excepted the force as is……OT anyways….and it was magical something to ponder a mystery……….then in PT Lucas decides to try and explain it with midi-chlorians blah blah blah….thank you but i would have rather just not known.

let me put it this way…..this is a story so character driven…..(and thats what we got BTW for the finally) do you think this following scenario would make sense…….” Jack wait, before we go stop the smoke monster from entering the world and destroying it…..lets get some rock samples from that statue to analyze it and see who made it and how old it is cause i could not go on living without that knowledge” yeah, that makes sense.??……Everyone had an agenda…..everyone had a mission…..and that they accomplished….besides i think we can safely assume that many have ventured on to the island from long ago and at some point built stuff…..does anyone here think there may have been Egyptians there from long ago??? wow riddle solved……now there would only be a mystery if No Egyptian stepped foot on this island.

Perhaps next year ABC will introduce “The Lost Adventures of Hurley and Ben” and they can painstakingly answer ever question in a mundane fashion……example, Hurley brought some weirdo outrigger Olympic team (that cheat with guns) from the year 2042 .oh oh wait….i think i solved another mystery…..ill stop before i reveal too much…i joke and digress

That being said…..lets keep this site going…..i have heard a lot of brilliant ideas here…..lets connect the dots…..this is what made the show for me……the water cooler chit chat….these boards…..this is the fun part…..thankfully they left a little for us to play with.,….and i like that

While im at it……….Terry O’Quinn …..wow fantastic performance….every time he is on the screen was just powerful Michael Emerson…..need i say more…….Mathew Fox……up and down for me…..but that last scene was so well done….i felt it…..anytime he is emotional he can really grab you…….

okay my rant is done……..i don’t think i could have asked for a better ending to the only show ever that has gripped me tight………it is sad to let go…….however im looking forward to watching it all again……
