Spoilsport…
I know every year LOST fans give writers heart attacks by posting tons of spoilers online, it seems to have gotten curbed quite well on this site…so…what leaked before the show was done?
What did you hear before it all ended that gave things away, or that was false?
I also heard that the finale script got left somewhere and found and ended up online…does anyone know if it was actually the finale script…or if it was a fake?
What was the biggest spoiler that you got spoiled on in the finale…and in Lost in general?
thankfully, I didn’t hear about anything..
I spend about 90% of my Lost-Internet time on this site, and like you said, this site is pretty good about catching spoilers or preventing spoiled postings…
I read a lot of spoilers online for ‘the candidate’ from dark ufo, but then I stopped visiting the site b/c I only ended up disappointing myself.
The only two I can think of:
1) Jack was going to break a mirror (obviously referring to the lighthouse)
2) There was going to be an episode that didn’t star any of the main characters towards the end. Michael Emerson actually said this on TV, and I doubt it’s really a spoiler. But I was REALLY looking forward to it from the moment I heard it. I’m sure he was referring to “Across The Sea”.
Like you said though, Admin did a good job of knocking out the spoiler junkies.
i did find the copy of the script, it was only one page as far as i knew, and yeah it was saying about Jack and Des in the cave with the “plug” (or cork) (or stone). and the fact that bernard and rose found des
Chief, ABC pissed me off with the mirror breaking as well…
I didnt get anything too bad this season, hearing that Alison Janey was going to be on led me to as who she could be, a motherly role ran through my head, but I couldnt picture it…I always thought she would be blonde, and youger, as their real mother was…
I remember Cocoa called out a few theories that I read, but cant recall actually being spoiled this year…
LAST YEAR…is a different story, and is why I a)hate spoiles, and b)disnt go to other sites after the new year began…
About an hour before the finale began, I was online on another theory site I didnt visit often, but one of a couple other than this one that I had saved in my favorites…I click on the “theory” titled “Reviving John Locke”, thinking its regarding how he is walking about on the island after his death…and immediately its a picture of Mark Pelligrino standing over Locke after his fall…wtf…
The episode starts with Jacob and MIB…and poof…I was spoiled…
Helen…I looked up the script since writing this, and found a link to something posted about 2 weeks before the finale with THREE pages of the script from that same sequence you spoke of…anyone call the longshot of Rose and Bernard saving Desmond…lol?
