Matthew Fox will star in “I, Alex Cross”
About $3.5 million in Michigan film incentives has been approved for “I, Alex Cross,” which will star filmmaker Tyler Perry and Matthew Fox of “Lost.”
The project is expected to spend $8.5 million in the state and shoot in Detroit and surrounding areas, the Michigan Film Office announced today.
The movie will be directed by Rob Cohen, who helmed “The Fast and the Furious.” The main character, psychologist and detective Alex Cross, is the protagonist from best-selling novelist James Patterson’s Alex Cross series. Perry, the multi-faceted writer, director and actor, will play the lead role of Cross.
