Jacob and his Nemisis link
Did anyone else notice that there could be some sort of link between Jacob and his Nemisis not being able to kill each other directly. And Ben and Charles Widmore also not being able to kill each other directly. As if there is some sort of agreement about passed leaders unable to harm current leaders?
johnpaul, good observation! I did notice that whatever ‘rules’ that applied to Ben & Widmore about killing one another, also seem to apply to Jacob and his Nemesis.
Figuring out what the answer to that is, would tell us a lot!
Possibly. I’m also curious about this as well. I think it also has something to do with Michael not being able to die until he returned to the island.
Maybe Richard was the first leader. Maybe the events that took place from the flight with jack took place with Richard as well. He earned his way to leader and for never breaking any rules was granted immortality and jacob is trying to employ a new leader capable of accomplishing the same thing richard has.
