Jacob’s touch & smokie
When Jacob touches someone Smokie leaves them alone. Ben lived, and it seems most others have been around Smokie but not killed. Yeah, I know it goes against Smokie=MIB, but I’m not convinced of that anyway. Still haven’t figured out:
Why Hurley wasn’t touched till after leaving island – but could find ‘Jacob’s’ cabin.
Who told Ben that was Jacob’s cabin.
Why MIB wants to kill Jacob. He seems affable enough.
hey waycurious, i think jacobs touch may possibly mean something, dunno what though?? maybe ben manipulated someone into telling him where jacobs cabin was or maybe followed richard or something? could of even been smokie as ben knows how to summon it?? as for mib not being able to kill jacob i think there must be some sort of rules in place that we`re not aware of at this point that prevents him from doing so? my take on hurley is that he is special,i think jacob said that himself 2 hurley. he just had the ability 2 see it. maybe because the person he saw in the chair was dead, as he can see dead people? jacob may have visited hurley pre-island but we hav`nt seen it yet? i think the guitar case is gona be seen/needed for something in season 6, as jacob left it for hurley in the taxi, he had it when they crashed, and he had it again when he was packing his things 2 leave dharmaville. i no they had 2 replicate the flight but jacob didnt say that 2 him did he? so why did he bring it? unless he saw charlie again?? like your thinking here though with these questions. eko rocks
I think Jacob is not dead or even if he is he wanted that to happen. He just played a mind game like Ben usually does (telling him that he has a choice). I think Jacob planed it all out, he knew exactly what will happen. That’s why he said to MIB that he will wait right there.
I also wonder who told Ben about Jacob and the cabin. Especially if Jacob was actually in the statue all this time, and Richard knew that, why would he listen to Ben who was getting orders from someone (MIB?) in the cabin? Hmmmmm….
