What is this place?

As in, what is THIS Place? Just found this site, i used to post on lost theories but it vanished one day. Anyone know what happened to it? Also, is angelo comet here? His posts were fab. so far i love the site, well put together and some nice ideas. Anyway, Looking forward to getting some answers, both to this post and to the show as a whole!
