Tennis Shoes
I’ve heard that the tennis shoe that Jack ran past in the Pilot episode will be explained next season.
We know it belongs to Christian – so what if it’s his constant ? If they’re going to the trouble of explaining it then that may be why?
Um… a tennis shoe as someones constant? I’m not sure about that.
Also, why would a dead person need a constant?
A constant is someone you love or care for deeply or have a strong connection with.
A tennis shoe doesn’t fit bill, unless Christian has strong feelings for it, which I’m guessing he didn’t cause he left it hanging in a tree.
You may be slightly misconstruing what you have heard.
Darlton have stated that we will learn, during Season 5, why it is Christian Shephard is wearing white shoes when he appears on the Island.
The white tennis shoe that Jack ran past, and the white shoes Christian wears, are not one and the same. (As proven by Christian appearing wearing the shoes in the mobisode ‘So It Begins’ that took place minutes before Jack woke up and ran to the beach.)
