Jacobs powers

This is my first post so bare with me.
In lost we all agree Jacob is good n mib evil but Jacob
can go of island but mib is “trapped” on the
island I have no evidence for what I am about to suggest
hence why it’s in fun.
But I belive that Jacob is using mib’s powers even more
I belive he has trapped mib on the island so he can rip off mib powers. Also I came to this conclusion because mib’s home is of the island properly in Portland
