Has anybody done the math?

I’m just curious if antbody has done the math on Faraday’s rocket? Extrapolated the time difference to something meaningfull. Time on the island appears to be out of sync with the rest of the planet. Out of sync or time is passing at different speed. Could months/weeks on the island be years off the island?
-Alpert dosen’t appear to age.
-The others prommissed that Juliet would be back before her sister’s baby was born.
-Walt appeared aged quickly relative to those on the island.

OK, Dannielle disproves that theory. The raft and equipment when she landed on the island looks like 16 years ago.

So, just out of sync.

  1. I kinda disagree with you proof. Danielle thinks she has been on the island for a period less than 16 years, noted by her surprise at how long she had been on the island. We know the island shifted when the losties crashed, so who’s to say that Danielle hadn’t been on the island for only a little time, then the shift, and it’s sixteen years later. I think the numbers tie back in here. For one reason or another maybe the island only jumps in years that are multiples of the numbers, or the numbers themselves.

  2. Yet Danielle on the island has aged the 16 years. I think she just has not been counting the days, weeks, years… Plus she is a bit mad in every sense…

  3. they didnt calculate the loop of danielles message by when they gotr there. They did it by the amount of loops decided by what number was counted by how long the messge took. That came out to the amount of years. It is pretty much the only true clock on the island.
