Juliet – WTF?
Hi, don’t know if this has been answered or not but how come Juliet is time travelling with Faraday et al? Isn’t she still “an other” so should be with Richard and his crew. Oh, see the Oceanic 6, how come no one has mentioned that all dead bodies from flight 815 were found? – The ones that Charles Widmore planted! Maybe all this will be answered but i can’t see how this will progress the storyline.
Who knows I am clearly not as clever as the writers, they will no doubt have an amazing surprise answer that will leave us all shocked!

The plane was planted to deep to have a full recovery of the wreckage so they believe the lie of the oceanic 6.
Good point about Juliet travelling…perhaps if you believe the island is self correcting this is why juliet is needed.
Regarding Juliet. She’s devious yet seems pretty desperate to get off the island. So, I don’t trust her motives, yet wouldn’t be surprised if she is completely motivated to just try to get out of the whole situation.
I also think that she might have a sense of what could be happening, not knowing it all, but smart enough to put together things that she experienced/learned as an Other under Ben’s leadership. Things that we as the viewers have yet to see…
That look on her face when she had the option to go with Locke to see Alpert or go with Sawyer to help Daniel was classic. You never know which way she might go…
She’s one of the best unanswered questions on the show.
Regarding the plane and the 346 bodies accounted for, there are a lot of different thoughts out there (on this site, especially) about what could be going on.
My question has been: Do we actually know when the footage of the “discovery” of the plane and the bodies was? Was it pre-Oceanic 6 or was it a later time period, but spliced into our perspective (the viewers) to make us think that it is somehow being overlooked. I would love it if someone could tell me that it’s FOR SURE pre-O6 return. It could sound like a crazy theory, but, rule it out for me! 😉
Widmore planted a fake Oceanic before the O6 left the Island. (We know this because Naomi turned up in Season 3, that was when it was first mentiomed.)
The reason the bodies were not all accounted for was because the plane was too deep. No one actually went down there and checked them all out and counted dead. They were just ASSUMED dead.
Hence the surprise when the O6 turned up.
As for Juliet travelling with the Losties. I have only reached one conclusion. Alpert and The Others that met with Locke, and then ‘disappeared’, have been on the Island a long, long time and so are part of it.
The new Others (like Cindyt, for example) were the ones that made the journey to The Temple. I believe The Temple is a place on the Island that provides refuge from this time jumping business. If Juliet had gone with The Others to The Temple she would have been protected, and not jumped around.
As it was, she didn’t. So she’s bouncing around in time with the rest of them!
AC – I like your idea that the Temple provides the safety from TIME TRAVEL. I am still not convinced that Widmore planted the fake plane; I have read some convincing theories that the O6 plant it.
Maybe nobody planted it. The way the show is to the minute, possibly at some point(I wanna say at some point in TIME) It had to crash and take everyone with it. Oh I’m getting a nose bleed goota go.
Here’s a stretch for you. Perhaps something (or someone) changes something in pre-crash time that assists only the 6 to survive and the crash actually ends up killing everyone else, in the water.
The island has a strange knack of following Jacks fate. He tried taking flying lessons but didn’t like it (can’t fly within a certain distance of the island). He tries to save a patient that dies and is in her 2nd tri-mester.(No one who is pregnant can survive past that point) Maybe since Jack came up with this lie about the crash will somehow make it true (to an extent).
This is far from a theory. Again, it’s a silly stretch but may spark other ideas. I actually don’t believe that the story would go down to just these 6 characters but am looking for a direction for all these thoughts.
Jack’s tattoo means he is a leader who walks alone (something along those lines). I have long believed that Jacob is the captain of the BR ship. I’m now starting to think Jack is connected to all of this story. Perhap Jacob is what Jack becomes and is somehow on another plane of existence. Is Locke Jacob? Now that he has to die (for some reason) is Jacob Lockes spirit trying to get back? Hence his plea to himself (Locke) “Help Me” He needs Locke to die to come back…..
I’m all over the place
I know this is all sparatic and jumbled… help me focus these thoughts please…. I’m just throwing these things out for discussion. Hopefully someone can help me believe them
