What Happens To Locke When He Gets Back On the Island!
This is more a thought than a theory, i havent really researched so any help to expand it would be great.
OK here goes, Ive noticed a lot of people are speculating on what is going to happen to Locke when he gets back on the island, is he suddenly going to gasp and wake up as soon as he gets there, is he going still going to be dead? I think we’re all missing something right under our noses, there is a precedent for dead people in coffins coming back to the island…Christian Shepperd!
What happend in the first episode, which im now seeing holds so many clues, after the plane crashed Jack found the coffin which was empty and then proceeded to have possibly visions of his father. OK think about it further could Christian have been doing a similar thing as Locke in terms of bringing people to the island, we know prior to them coming to the island quite a few people interacted and in many cases were on the plane because of Christian. Ana- Lucia was pretty much brought by Christian, i cant remeber the sawyer pre-island story exactly but i remamber Christian was involved, and of course Christians ‘death’ made Jack make the fateful trip, so it could be argued Christian may have organised the initial trip to the island, and ‘sacrificed’ himself in the same way Locke has or will.
This maybe a stretch but even say Claire, could Christian have threatend her babys dad to get out of the picture? remember the complete turnaround in his attitude towards having the baby, i know its quite a typical attitude but still. If she hadnt split from her boyfriend she wouldve never got on the plane.
This was given some weight i think by Christian appearance in the last episode, when he talks to Locke he tells him what to do as if he had once had to do it himself. Theres been a lot of people saying Christian is Jacob, in that Jacob may have inhabited his body, but i dont think that at all i think Christian is Locke sort of charactor and has been aware of the island for some time, he is on the team to save it. He brought up Jack tough because he wanted to make him a leader, like Richard said the leader selection starts early.
Anyway in conclusion i think what happend to Christian when he first got on the island will happen to Locke, in fact Locke seems to be following Christians footsteps. Christian is not Jacob but rather someone who is and has always worked for the island maybe an original high ranking other, i dont know.
Would love to her you lots thoughts…..

There are some Great Thoughts here. I especially like the thought that Christian had to make a “Sacrifice”
Thanks Swan, i think Christians death and appearances have been very mysterious. But now that we’re seeing whats happening with Locke i think it provides a lot of explanation for what happend with Christian.
I think it would be a bit superficial and lightweight to say that Christian just happend to die in Austrailia and then when they crashed on the island Jacob used his body to talk through him, i think thats very unlikely. Christian definatley has his own timeline…
whatistime, I certainly like the notion Christian Sheppard may not have been dead, as first believed.
Very original thought!
Yeah i like this idea aswell. It seems as if the writers are actually going back through the previous episodes and looking at ways to make it easier for us to connect the dots. When you mentioned the higher ranks would this also include Apert and Abbaddon? Maybe they have a different set of skills to each other and are used in different ways. After all it does seem that all 3 of them have a skill that enables them to coerce/pursuade people to take certain actions. I hope we get to see Abbaddons character more and find out what his role in all this is, apart from Locke and Ben he’s by far my favourite character
That 1st bit about looking back through previous episodes is obviously what writers do. What i meant is with all the little mysteries that go on in lost it seems like they are trying to solve these aswell as the major one’s.
Hmmm i wonder if they have a list of the sub-mysteries that they’re going to solve and one’s which they are going to remain mysteries to keep us guessing
Yeah Big, i think the early episodes are very important, even if the writers didnt know what direction they were going then they still must have to look over the early episodes and make sure everything makes sense, otherwise its just a load of crazy stuff that happend for nothing! lol
Also Richard is obviously very important but i think characters like Abbaddon could be big pieces to the puzzle. Because Abbaddon obviously knows everything thats going on and has a big hand in effecting things, we just dont know which side hes fighting for. But regardless of whos fighting for who i believe that theres an ‘old guard’ if you like of all these type of characters who may have all been on the island before similar to our losties now…
