Ancient Egypt acutally Ancient Island
People say the ancient island has Egyptian influences, but I assert that ancient Egypt was influenced by the island ala the movie Stargate. My reasoning is that the exit portal from the frozen donkey wheel is Tunisia, which is very close to Egypt. Maybe the first person to turn the wheel started the Egyptian culture.
If you read it backwards it is a pretty good theory!
Yeah I think that’s pretty much the point that the various variations of the Atlantis theory are about. That the island represents a more advanced civilization that ended up influencing such ancient cultures as the Egyptians, Greeks and Hindus, which openly have stories about such an island which has exactly that effect, and the island just happens to miraculously disappear.
I’m pretty sure Stargate is based at least partially on that premise. That what was actually science to the “alien”/Atlantian culture would have been considered magic or the power of the gods to pre-dynastic Egyptians/Indians.
I love this idea. The necklace that Amy took off of her dead husband Paul was actually an egyptian symbol for eternal life.
That’s a great theory! Hopefully in season 6 we’ll get some more ancient history of the island.
