Rousseau…interesting point.
Sorry not been posting much recently, have got lots of university work at the mo! Just a quick point, after reading a book on trivia, I noticed that old english slang for a Fortune Teller is French Woman! This could be just a coincidence, but ah…coincidences are one of Lost’s most prominent features am I right?
In effect, she has always been a fortune teller of sorts because she wa used as a narrative device early on, fortelling us of events that DID happen, in a sense, regardless of time, as we know time on lost is relative.
Just thought I’d point it out!

events that happened…yet are still the future…very interesting…foreshadowing almost…if we would have caught it 3 seasons ago..lol…good catch now though Tom!
Thomas, that is a cool find! I have never heard that phrase before. Good connection, on her narrative function.
Really an Oxford man…working, studying, making time for lost :]
haha oxford brookes (still fairly good though!)
