The Losties – Course Correctors(The True Answer To Lost)
I just had this amazing epiphany that theLosties are in fact the Islands course correctors. Simply put is like this.
Scenarios
Sayid=Killer…….sent back to shoot Ben because thats what he is
Juliet=Saviour…….sent back to save Ethan because thats what she is
Jack=Saviour………sent back to save Ben because thats what he is
Sawyer=Conman………..sent back to con the Dharma into making this possible because thats what he is
Hurley=’Numbers Guy’……………sent back to input the numbers because thats what he is all about

I don’t think people will disagree with all of it, especially because the Losties as Course Correctors has been brought up at various points. You bring different ideas to what their purposes are in what they are “course correcting” though. I think there are some parts of this that make sense, and there is definitely room to add other elements of what has been discussed to it.
For instance, one of the main roles of Jack and his connection to the island and family lineage has to be significant (like a course corrector) but even more significant than just saving Ben.
So what is the “Original Standing” timeline that you are referring to? Is it all that we have seen, up until the island starts it’s temporal flashes? Or is it beyond that or even before that?
I’ll try to find the other theories on here where them as CC’s are talked about so that maybe it can get flushed out even more!
Original Standing is the timeline as we know it in 2007.

Basically what I’m trying to say is that its their destiny to become these people. As for other characters
Christian – The Shepard guiding the sheep.
Locke – The man that sacrificed himself to make other people believe
Ben – The true leader of the ‘Others’ and always was….just trying to put things the way they should be.
Widmore – The jealous outcast of the ‘Others’ who would rather cause Armageddon then let Ben be leader….by this I mean isn’t it wierd that Locke needed to die(not suicide)to make every1 return but Widmore was adament this wasn’t going to happen…..because he wanted the world to end?
I seriously now think Ben is the good guy and Widmore the bad….the thing we learn is bad deeds(ben) are sometimes good, and good deeds(widmore) are sometimes bad.
Abaddon – In the Revelation of St John, John is the only person to ever refer to him as being an angel….Abaddon is protecting Locke from harm…..but at the cost of the end of the earth….bottomless pit to which the Revelation refers.
This is to stop Locke from dying, resulting in nobody returning to the island and inevitably Armageddon.
I think we will se Abaddon again as many people have said because of the battle between Christian and Abaddon that will also inevitably happen.
Anyway what I’m trying to say is Widmore is trying to bring about Armageddon and Ben and Hawkings are trying to prevent it.
Ressurections – I think that no matter what the island has the power to ressurect people but will only do so too people that it needs. ie christian to be the shephard and locke to be the sacrifice.
The upcoming war is between heaven and hell Widmore is Hell with him he brings Abaddon and any other nastys he knows. Ben is Heaven bringing the Losties when they finally realise the truth…..maybe Desmond is the arch-angel? Will keep theorising on this but just ask questions so i can add more to the theory and make it stronger.
Maybe I didn’t read it all close enough, but just what are they course correcting?
I suppose its not really course correcting but basically they are remembered by the people of 77 because they went back originally. They made things happen and it needs to happen again…..if they don’t go back and do te things they did then things would be completely different. And thats if its possible for things to just be different. I think this is the real reason that Widmore sent the boat to the island to stop Ben sending them back…..who knows, if they didnt go back then Widmore could have been leader.
In my head it makes perfect sense lol. Just hard to explain.
What if Widmore is supposed to be their leader?
obv he isn’t otherwise he would have been. ive also got awhole religious plot theory which i think ud like but will take forever to tell you the whole theory so read up on arch-angels and the times their used in the bible….the best bits wit the 9 men of god all have differnt traits….ones a doctor…..ones a type of preacher and so on…..alot of connections to our characters there….check it out AES if ur that bored lol.

this theory also states that god is going to rule over the world for 42 months….the number 42 being the last number out of the bunch…..hmmmmmm.
Oh n the reason tey had to be on the island at that point was because that was the day Sayid originally shot Ben….if it got delayed no doubt things would have happened different.
I have a feeling i’m talking to my self now but if anyone reads this has their ever been a post about the one ageless man in the bible……god!

Did anyone know that in the bible the 7th seal is the second coming of Christ. And te 6th is te wrath of god….In actual fact it is te opposite way round its just the second coming of God was kept a secret until after te wrat of God……I swear i think i’ve nailed the plot in my head. Hard to understand you just need to read up on all the things mentioned above and it should all click into place.

…oh yeah, there is a lot of good ties. Name relations, some Ive heard, some are new. I have to take a little to dissect, but I will get back to this. And no, I wont forget. Good thoughts here overall Wes, I love the placement of characters to non Lost characters, but I struggle with relating the 2000ers, to the 1970ers.
Not that you did a bad job at all presenting this…I just may need to sleep on this one.
Oh, and just so you know. The producers are quoted to tell people to keep following the bible, or reading it, I cannot remember which, but that will help your fight as well…of course they told us there was no timetravel on lost either, but…

AES…I wish I could remember exactly what I meant without sounding harsh…I think my comment was directed at Wesley’s “how could anybody disagree?” statement…because on this site, disagreement makes everyone smarter…and I happen to disagree with a bit of what he’s saying, so I wanted to be nice, or something like that. 🙂 Yes, Wesley did put a lot of thought into it, and based on comments since, there’s obviously much more to be unpacked.
