I broke the rules…
Ive been going back and forth on this Pennys dead…pennys not dead theory….untill i saw the recent trailer for the next episode….with ben on the marina with the gun sayins “not another word” and with him telling locke that he broke the rules….now im convinced that he killed penny…with breaking the rules being that he killed an “others” family or there may be more too it…maybe she was born on the island like alex and you cant kill someone thats born on the island…but when ben tells widmore that he knows that he cant kill him…bc you cant kill an other!

I think they broke the rules by spinnin’ the donkey wheel without the big cheeze’s command (whoever that may be).
Alex got killed because keamy’s first impression of all the people on the island was that they murder anyone.Naomi was killed by locke ,and that is what made keamy start killing people.I think that everyone would have been rescued if it was’nt for locke killing her.Just because ben said this and that about the boat is neither here nor there…………jack’s the good, john’s the bad, and ben is the ugly.Ben spends most of his time talking cobblers….
Good, Bad and the Ugly….. I like that.
I’m convinced he is going to be judged for turning the wheel when Locke was told to move the island. we’ll see soon enough. Think this week is a big one.
Seriously I think Ben broke the rules by kidnapping Alex, she is not nor ever was his daughter. She was kidnap victim, who didn’t know her parents. There could be a rule of ‘the others’ that they can not kill their own, but Alex is not one of them, by blood anyhow.
I thought he’d broken the rules by returning to the Island after turning the donkey wheel and it seems that his punishment is that he will now be judged by Smokey, maybe before he turned the wheel he had some sort of protection from Smokey.
Maybe he has to be judged because all of his sins, about killing Widmore’s people, about exhiling Widmore, about probably killing Penny, about getting back to the island when he was exhiled because John was going to be their leader, because of killing John… Hey and talking about this, why is Ben so surprised of seeing John alive, he knows of the powers of the island… He has a lot to be judged
About the judging part … he goes into the temple to be ‘saved’ as a kid (ironically, being ‘saved’ means your innocence is robbed.)
He goes to (smokey?) to be judged … as an adult. He sees Locke welcoming back … as an adult – is he there in dual times? Will we see little Benny ‘changed’ or does he just pop into the future or come back as an adult that never ages?
I think spinning the wheel is breaking the rules, btw.
