think “doctor who” time can be bent….never changed

Lost ‘ My theory
One ‘ The title
LOST: Isnt about being lost on an island, its about being lost within yourself. By creating what is to come, shapes the person you are. When that is altered, the person you are”’.is lost, and has to be ‘re found’. Time itself should never be changed, however can be ‘bent’ as long as the outcomes remain the same and follow the same path
The Others: Are products of things changed in time that shouldnt have happened and the less contact they come into with reality, the better. People being born, people that should have died, people who were somewhere they shouldn’t have been thus altering how time progressed. These people have no fixed time, these people do not die (Locke, Alpert, Des, Claire, and Ben). Imagine looking at the world from the outside as if it’s a crystal ball (or remember walt with the dome comic), this is what the others see. They need to keep things balanced so they can ‘exist’ because from everyone elses reality”’..they don’t. I also feel Aaron is one of the others”..He should not have been born on the island, it wasn’t his time. Kate saying ‘I turned around for a second and he was gone’ but the guy is the supermarket said ‘son?’ like not everyone could see him, or he knew it wasn’t kates.
I still feel ben has never met des for a reason, they can be both told something in the past”..that they remember in the future””they have no set reality. So them BOTH meeting would be as bad as a paradox.
The survivors: Ok this is the tricky part”.theyre not survivors, theyre creating a time line”the crash HAS to happen, whatever they do on the island HAS to happen, alpert and the rest are like doctor who, they can give clues and bend things, but they cannot change or alter them. If something goes wrong in the timeline, and it involves something that should be ‘a paradox’ or one of the others actually becoming a part of the reality timeline by intervening”hence smoke monster.
The plane crash was created to ensure all the elements of time were placed as they should be. The buildings, the community, and the strict truce with the others. All the people had to follow the rules, the others knowing really that what theyre doing is writing history how it should be written. Whatever they experience has to lead to the right outcome’.whuch the others know”.so they can ‘guide’ to it.
Hurly said to the Chinese guy ‘but how come ben doesn’t know he was shot before”..chinese guy said ‘huh never thought of that””’.thing is ben DOES know, that’s his lack of innocence, he HAS to create that even in any way shape or form”’that’s why he becomes a heartless monster”..because it HAS to be done. People have to die to save the past, all ben knows is the time line is not a part of him, he is an outsider. The island is merly a portal”’.its time that’s the issue. Ok imagine sayind didn’t go back, ben didn’t get shot, ben never got taken from the others, jack never operated on him, they all leave the island””the real with would be wrong””.timeslines changed”’.everyone plays a part, even hurly. The numbers were clues to get them linked to one another (lottery, numbers des watched etc) because they needed des there””farady knocked on the latch”’it became a memory to des””meaning he knew what had to be done.
This is why jack said I knew I wasny supposed to leave””.because jack makes a difference, he just doesn’t know how yet
Maybe its jack who started the whole thing”’..we have yet to see.
Des and Ben: Des has never met Ben whilst on the island., this leads me to one conclusion, theyre not able to because theyre both at different times. I believe neither ben not des have a fixed time, that’s why faraday was able to knock on the hatch years before, and future des remembered it. His life can be shaped or changed by altering the past. The same for ben, lock, alpert. Now Ben can meet locke because it has relevance to his own ‘creation’. (ie if he hadn’t met locke, he wouldn’t have told everyone to go back, hence sayid would never shot him and jin wouldn’t have picked him up, therefore ben wouldn’t have been taken to the others). I believe he kills locke because its locke that finally DOES kill ben
Im certain the whole thing will end with a plane crash – and to stop time looping, when the plane crashes, they will all have to be off the island, or die.
Innocence is only measured in what we DONT know or DONT do, not what we do or know. Ben becoming like the others, has no innocence, simply because he knows what is to happen, and even if it means creating a murderer (sayid worked for him for example) to ensure the past creates the present/future. He becomes heartless because he HAS to shut off from reality, he cannot feel because he knows what has to be done. I believe he tried to kill locke, because he knows locke will eventually kill him. When he saw Ben when he awoke in the bed, realisation hit him……he cant change locke killing him, its going to happen

I still feel ben has never met des for a reason, they can be both told something in the past
