Who made that donkey wheel?

Is it ancient like the temple? Made by people on the Black Rock?

It seems someone would have to know enough about the island and science in order to ‘contain’ it.

I mean, it’s so ‘exact’ that if you tip it off it’s axis the island time jumps …

  1. It cannot be ancient, otherwise there would be time travelers from the past in the story. I have a hunch that the others are from the past. Alperts atire in the episode where he meets the young ben gives him long hair and weird clothes. Could be from the Black Rock. Maybe all the others including Widmore are from the Black Rock

I suspect the wheel is created in the future. It is vital that if its that way round that the characters aid in its creation. Otherwise there will be disaster.

  2. Yeah, but if it was from the future it would be way more cool and durible and you wouldn’t be able to knock it off it’s axis causing the island to skip to time … and what was the island like before it?

  3. I think that the wheel has to do something with the buried bomb… Maybe the wheel was constructed in the 50’s. I know there is a statue that seems to be of an egiptian but maybe that culture was there but the island was as normal as any other.

  4. Everyone please read my theory entiltled ” A subtle connection between Back rock and the FDW” or something like that…I thin I may have found the origin of the wheel, it is an oldie, I’ll try to find the page in theories it is on…

Not a big theory or anything, at least I dont think. Not much to go on, just food for thought. We know Blackrock has a major role in Lost, presumably the journal, which may lead the reader to the island. And whoever the hell the capitan was (please, if you guess, cool, if you know, please state where this was said) along with the crew. But what about the island. Is there anything at all, that would be kind of nuts to find out, that may have been right in front of us and we missed.
I am thinking, we saw the ship, and a bit of the inside, but what did we not see that you would think we would. Wouldnt the Losties want to see if there was anything salvagable in the ship other than explosives? I think we were slightly led away for a reason not uncovered yet.
I was thinking, what did Ben have to do to move the island

  6. Interesting theory that the fdw was the steering wheel from the Black Rock – used to steer a ship’s course, and now the island’s course through time. It makes sense. I like the idea that the losties actually end up being the ones that set everything up, since it is such a mystery for them and us. That would be an ironic twist and true to Lost writer’s nature.
