  1. GK21, that is a good question! I am not sure who will be the first ‘lostie’ to enter the temple.

That would be one line, you wouldn’t want to be ‘first’ in line for! lol

  2. It depends on your definition of first. The first we’ll see? The first chronologically? I think John has already been in there. Maybe the Pasties will enter the temple at some point in the 1970s… in that case I think it will be either Sawyer or Kate…

  3. I dont think any losties can enter besides locke becuase the smoke monster is protecting it from those who are not chosen by the island…and based on next weeks episode it looks like the monster is going to change its views on ben. Sorry to go on a tangent, but this will definitely be due to the fact that ben “killed” locke, an other and not to mention their leader.

  4. Kate is a good shout highbrow. If they enter do we think that they are going to change as ethan or benor the kids appear to ? Highbrow do you believe this is what Locke said when he said I saw the eye of the island and it was beautiful. The smoke monster did catch him and try to pull him underground once and then the second time – nothing. What changed?

  5. Yeah, like I said on another post I think that Locke has been to the temple. He was taken there by the smoke monster and through all of this he saw the eye of the island. Just one mans opinion though…

  6. For me that would be a good enough reason for the truce to be broken. Dharma blow through the wall to find a way whilst building the station and others are there. Both camps regard this a breakin of the truce and war ensues. Both parties believe they are in the right because the land is theirs.

  7. GK21, you might be onto something with your last thought. Radzinski was awfully paranoid about Sayid being sent by ‘the others’ to spy on his work surrounding the ‘Swan Station’.

I think it is quite possible Dharma was delving into and exploring areas that were forbidden to them, by ‘the others’.

I sincerely doubt, that ‘the others’ would give that kind of carte blanche to anyone, given ‘the island’ has such enormous powers.

I seriously think Dharma was going beyond their reach, and ‘the others’ found out about it, and that’s what started it all.

  8. Cheers dabs. I think eventually these events will lead to widmore leaving the island for reasons that he doesn’t understand, or perhaps at this stage the others are unaware of the fdw powers too. I believe this is why widmore wants back, he feels he has unfinished business and didn’t want to leave initially. I still don’t understand why he wanted the black rock log. He was on the island when the ship was, or was he? Does it have coordinates in it?

  9. GK21, I initially thought that Widmore may have purchased the Black Rock for its coordinates, or to protect the secrets of ‘the island’.

We learned later, when ‘the freighter’ arrived that he didn’t need coordinates. I think in part, Widmore was protecting the secrets in the Black Rock, and may have been looking for further information enclosed in the ships log.

I know that the Captains kept a log of everything, including what they had for dinner, etc., much like a diary, so I am thinking there may have been special information he wanted in his possession.

Maybe Widmore and Desmond will recreate the events, and sail to ‘the island’ ala Johnny Depp, in the Pirates of the Caribbean! lol
