“Are you Jack?”…
This has probably been explained, but in “The Beginning of the End” when Faraday first parachutes on the island he lands and Jack and Kate run up to him. He takes off his equipment, looks at Jack and says “Are you Jack?”
I can’t for the life of me remember or know how he already knew who Jack was. Please help!

An Widmore was the man that covered up 815 crash so IM SURE he has info on them as well as they are somewhat famous. He was probably shown a Picture of him.
when jack uses Naomis sat-phone at the end of season 3! he says his name and he is a survivor of Oceanic Flight 815. This is how he knows his name.
