The Incident

So, I have a theory about the incident. I don’t like writing long posts, so here’s what I think. I think the incident has already happened. I think the incident is the fact that our survivors are trapped in the wrong time. Marvin Candle, I forget his other name at the moment, Pierre Chang, had to make the connection that Miles is his son. He’s a scientist working in the orchid. This guy is Asian, named Miles, and Hurley was making it so obvious. So hence, he sends his wife and kid away b/c crazy stuff is going on, and he doesn’t know why his grown son is on the island. What does everyone think?

BTW I can’t figure out how to post a pic by my user name. Can someone help me out? 🙂

  1. I’m not really liking this… I still think a combo of faraday/jack/hurley cause the incident…. Jack has something to do… He just doesn’t know what yet…..

  2. i think jack’s sumthin to do, was to operate and save ben (young ben) wen he got shot, becoz wen richard took him he sed he will remember knopwn of this and his innocence will be gone, bt if jack had dun it ben wud have seen how muc his dad really does love him and how worried he was and then maybe he wudnt hav turned so evil.

  3. I have a hunch that the incident refers to whatever accident happens that makes someone need to push the button every 108 minutes… even Hurley mentioned something about it… I don’t think “the incident” refers to the 815-ers (plus Faraday, Miles, and Juliet) being in the 70s. They may CAUSE the accident/incident, but I doubt the “incident” refers to just them.

  4. Remember, “What happened, happened.” If Jack never operated before, he’s not going to do it now. Even though it’s Jack’s present, all of this happened in Ben’s past, and you can’t change the past.
