Dave is Dead (not a groundbreaking theory)
So if hurley can really see the dead as i believe he can… maybe his old friend Dave who was “imaginary” was in fact a dead guy hurley was communicating with like he does with other people. As I said in the title, not groundbreaking but something that just popped in my head.
Yeah, and some have said that he is in fact Libby’s dead husband, who was named David. Libby was at the institution with Hurley.
I just watched the episode with Dave. I was thinking he had to be a dead person. And, her husband’s name was David she told Desmond that when she gave him the boat. (I’ve been rewatching all the episodes. LOL I just finished the first episode of season 3. I’m a BIG dork.)
Hurley sees him off island before knowing of the island and the creators have said that he is only a delusion…
ekolocation, I never bought that Hurley was crazy and had an imaginary friend thing. It just didn’t ring true for me. I’ve never viewed Hurley as ever being crazy.
Dave was a ghost, IMO. I think ‘the island’ heightened this ability.
I also had wondered if Dave was Libby’s ex-hubby.
And, if Dave was kinda’ evil (explaining the ex- part) it would fit he’d befriend and then try to off the guy with a relationship (any relationship) with his lady.
I believe David was Libby’s deceased husband, not also her ex husband.
And Sinster, you are addressing people who have probably watched these episodes four or five times each. So don’t feel dorky.
