before the swan was destroyed the orchids equipment was still intact.this could mean the cubicle in the orchid might have been able to send minds back and forth through time.but now things have changed and there is an abundance of electro magnetism on the island the machine may have become more powerful and enables people to travel physically.in any case i still think its pointless because any you from any time slot that uses the machine on the same day and time(which is unavoidable) as you,you’d be just reitterating or indorsing the action/s that were already performed the last time a version of you travelled.if things were ever changed then they were changed by a different you in a time slot eons before.so if using the time machine you think your doing something that would interfere with time, your just going with the croud, and it’s what your supposed to be doing.
Well, they wouldn’t be able to travel to the island subconsciously unless their physical bodies were actually there…
