3 crappiest special effects shots

1- The submarine leaving the dock has to be the worst special effects shot of the entire series so far.

2- The polar bear from the pilot. Despite a lot of work trying to cover it up.

3- The black rock in season 3 when Locke brings Sawyer there.

Any others? Whar are the best SFX shots?

  1. Just hoping that since the show is going to end next season that the bad special effect of the sub does not mean that ABC is tightening the purse strings on the production. It would suck if production values drop for the final season.

  2. the island disappearing was quite good. especially the ripple effect. why was that sub shot so bad! Surely, they could have spent a bit longer polishing it up!

  3. And that thing was just plowing through the waves! It defied physics to my eye.

The US navy would be envious. No wonder Dharma kept it running so many years. And Sawyer’s NEMO quip was precious.

  4. ah but andre!

the sub was leaving in the seventies right?

so…the graphics reflect the time it was supposed to be set in, even though that would be quite advancedfor the seventies.

    mst go to sleep now!
