Season 6 Big Mystery
There’s a ton of talk about the current story line. And although we could go with the current story for I donno… 30 years, the truth is, it’s coming to a close. Jack’s got a bomb, the pasties have been found out, the Incident is imminent… the tension is building for the season ender. And if I know our writers, there will be a new mystery, or perhaps a new spin on an old mystery. We have the statue, the smoke monster, the temple, time travel, the mysterious group on 316, Jacob, Christian… wow there’s a ton of stuff. Any guesses as to what the big reveal/mystery will be? Whatever it is, it will dominate next season, as all of the previous seasons have been dominated by the season cliff-hanger mystery. Will we get answers, or solutions with deeper mysteries?
I can’t wait till we find out which characters are gonna turn out to be good guys or the bad guys. Gonna be some huge surprizes.

Maybe ben and his others … Being led by Jacob are the bad guys… Which is why the island wants Locke to kill Jacob… Bc he’s the true “good” leader….. But I would like it better if Locke was the bad guy
Yeah I honestly think the origin and purpose of the Others is going to be a big twist. We have this vague idea, that we mostly get from liar-face-Mc-lies himself, that the Others are protecting the island from outside forces. But this guy also murdered his own dad and pretty much everyone he knew as a kid in cold blood, and then ordered the girl he raised as his daughter to death to protect himself.
The two major parts of back story that have barely been touched upon, even in season five, are THE BLACK ROCK, THE ANCIENT CIVILIZATION which built the statue, the temple and other old artifacts…
It is a safe bet that at least part of the season will be oriented towards those things… In addition to this war between the different factions wrestling for control over the island and its power.
I hope so! The ancient stuff really is my favorite aspect of the show and given how awesome the Egyptians were, they could really go in all kinds of directions with it.
Has the black rock not already been explained through the Lost experience?, or is that not canon?
I have no idea. It may be canon, but you can’t really expect a video game to be 100% canon since not everyone has equal access to it.
