Daddy Issues
Its pretty obvious that almost everyone on the show has some “Daddy Issues”. Not this really means much but its almost everyone.
Oh K so we have Jack, John, Kate, Sawyer, Hugo, Walt, Penny, Sun, Ben, & maybe Aaron but thats up to you to decide.
I’m sure there is more I talked this over my g/f about this an I thought there was alot more but they are all pretty much Main Characters so seems kind of significant. An if anybody can add more then i’d like to know who I missed an if somebody can make sense or a theory of it do so please cause I just cant think right now, Maybe later.
– Ben killed his father.
– Jack on some way did it the same, with rejecting his father and by the Christian going in Australia and all…
– John Locke didn/t have the courage, so Sawyer did it for him.
– Walt is separated by his father.(was, now Michael is dead)
– Hugo was never close with his father up till now.
– Miles…well, you know…He is actually the reason his father left him…He tells his father to get everyone off the island.
– Penny…Her father is guilty about everything bad happening to her.
Bing, the father issues that all of ‘the losties’ have, formed who they were as people when they arrived on ‘the island’, and was their biggest challenge, in most cases to overcome.

Back to the subject.
– Alex had her father killed by her own mother.
– Saeed was pushed by his father to become a cold blood “killer”
– Sawyer watched his father being killed or committing suicide (can’t remember correctly)
– Jin was ashamed of his father and family
– Shannon lost her father if I remember correctly
– Faraday never knew his father
It certainly has something there.
sawyers father kills sawyers mother because she was having an affair with the real sawyer he then turns the gun on himself
maybe if it turns out mr reyes senior is responsible for hugo’s problems the old guy will be dealt with by hugo
Hey i just thought of something, maybe Mr reyes senior switched with his future self, and the guy we see in the cabin is an old version of him.Then maybe he switch with several versions of himself,to get back to his own rightful place.It’s a complicated idea,but it’s complexity would be consistant with this show.
Alex (Ben’s “daughter”) also has daddy issues. So does Jin (he is ashamed of his father). Charlie doesn’t seem to have issues with his dad but i could be wrong there. There must be some deeper meaning/connection that has to do with daddy issues.
