Sorry about my laziness and forgetfulness guys, but what was Bernard talking about in the Season 5 finale when he said everyone around him was being killed by flaming arrows?

It was early in the season when the 815ers were still together (Possibly the first episode of season 5). I don’t think we ever found out who exactly was shooting the arrows but a good assumption are the “others”. This was while they were time traveling, I believe, so it was back when the “others” or whoever were really hostile and protective… or something… I’m saying this based off of memory so if anyone has anything different that would be good too…
