Father and Son?

I cant help thinking that the link with Fathers has something to do with Jacob/man in black.

We have been shown through flashback that the majority of the main characters have had Daddy issues.

My theory, well i know its a long shot but what if Jacob is man in blacks son? His Mother died in childbirth,he now resents Jacob for this? As i said a long shot and it doesnt explain how Jacob appears ageless but i dont think the flashbacks to Daddy issues are completely pointless and will have some bigger part to play

Maybe MIB was the original inhabitant of the island(or
