Charles???? Whats he all about???
I just thought of something, i posted in a previous theory that i assumed Charles was working for Jacob, because he had the island’s best interest at heart
but bram didnt want miles to go to the island on charles boat and then claims he is on the side thats gonna win, does this mean Charles is working against Jacob??? I think he knows about the anti-Jacob and for some reason turned against Jacob, maybe while he was still on the island when this happened. This could be reflected in the situation where ben takes alex and charles says he wanted ben to kill both
yeah, was just thinking about the bram/miles thing earlier. i was thinking that widmore was possibly a good guy just because we have`nt seen him do anything really bad (we just take bens word for it). but then the bram/miles thing made me question my original thinking. also didnt illana say 2 sayid that she worked 4 the family of a man that sayid killed on a golf corse? this man worked for widmore (thats why sayid shot him). so that suggests 2 me that illana may have connections with widmore aswell as jacob?? and illana and bram are on the same team?.maybe widmore was once a good guy? but since being banished from the island he`s changed in2 another ben, and will do just about anything 2 find it & get back there. that maybe why bram tried his best to get miles not to go on2 the frator. because the island and jacob doesnt want him back now that hes corrupt or something? eko rocks
harry0222, I personally believe Charles Widmore is an evil man. Ben at least believed that much about him, and was likely right.
Bram wanted Miles to go with them, and not aboard ‘the freighter’. So, Charles is on the other side of that equation, it would appear.
Now that we have seen Ben’s frailties and flaws, we know that he isn’t really evil, but misguided. And, to make matters worse, the ultimate con-man, got caught up in a con himself.
