Adam and Eve
I just have a simple question. Has it ever been proven that the two corpses in the cave are in fact a man and a woman? I can’t really remember that anyone said that.
I just wanted to know this because all the guesses that have been made have always been one female and one male. Jack and Kate, Rose and Bernard. But for all we know they might just be two men or two women.

I think Jack sid it was a man and a woman, but he could be mistaken. I still think it’s Rose and Bernard because of that anagram that says something like “Nadler’s bones burried in the cave.”
Hey Joni,
lostlove is right; Jack says one of the skeletons was a woman in season one, “House of the Rising Sun.”
Here’s the excerpt from the transcript:
LOCKE: Clearly. But, who were these men?
JACK: Actually, one of them is female.
LOCKE: Our very own Adam and Eve.
Apparently Jack can tell the gender from the skeletal structure, but he never explains himself and acts weird when he takes the black and white stones and never tells anyone about them.
Rose and Bernard seem to head the list of possible candidates, but their identity has not been officially revealed yet.
Damon Cuse was just talking about the black and white rocks. I see a theme that keeps coming back. Dark and light. It started with the backgammon game, then the rocks, then in the season 5 finale, Jacob and the guy he is with. Jacob is wearing a White shirt and the other guy is wearing black.
If you watch the trailer for season 6, It also mentions this theme. Any comments on that??
Or is it just what it is? nothing deeper?
