How much does Ben really know?
I just wanted to hear peoples thoughts on Bens role in this ‘game’, Ben has always been the man with a plan, and even when hes down and out it always seems to me to be part of his manipulative strategies.
A few things that stuck out to me this season was Bens connection with Ms Hawking, stashing Lockes body at that shady butcher shop with that very mysterious unexplained woman (theres gotta be something about that) and mostly that package he had hidden in the hotel room.
I think Ben might have been aware that Locke being ‘ressurrected’ on island was part of the grand scheme, but didn’t actually believe it would happen (hence ‘doubting Thomas’), and this is why he was so suprised to see a living Locke standing over him when he awoke in that bed. Hes been cleverly manipulating Locke and others for a long time, and always keeps his cards well hidden.
So, at the end of last season, was he simply doing what Lockes bad twin told him to do, or was he already aware that things had to play out that way?
What do you guys and gals think?
I think Jacob is Jesus, Flocke is Lucifer, and Ben is God – playing the whole thing out.
God sacrificed his son, no? and Ben killed Jacob….
ok, I don’t really think that’s what’s up….but I think Ben is more “in the know” than any of the other characters we’ve seen – including Jacob and Flocke.

Ben was also overseeing the construction of a runway on Hydra Island. Was he ordered by Jacob/MIB or was that his plan because he knew he would be on Ajira 316.

Out of all the crazy stuff going on, Ben never seems to be really surprised by anything.
I wonder if hes the only one who knows whats REALLY coming next season…
