ben’s plan to kill jacob…
Sayid is tricked into working with ben to take revenge on the people who killed nadja. But who really “killed” her was jacob. And ben of course knew this. … whoever these people were, its pretty sure they are working for jacob, which means we know that ben is not on jacobs side… or even that he had a long term plan to get rid of jacob…

I’m not sure I get what you’re saying. If Jacob caused the death of Nadia and that caused Sayid to work for Ben, couldn’t we just as well draw the conclusion that Jacob and Ben were working together?
What i meant was: everything sayid did afterward nadja was killed lead to ben killing jacob. … on the other hand: if the favour jacob asked from iljana was to bring sayid to the island, then this wouldn’t make much sense…
so as somebody else also posted: maybe jacob and ben are working together and the killing of jacob is part of their plan…
